Aging in Place

Aging in place is a reality for many seniors. So, when we were approached to design this retirement home, it was important to our client and team that it feel like home, not an institution. We needed to create a space where residents could age gracefully and receive necessary care and support, while still looking like a typical single-family home to fit in the community.

Because of these unique requirements, this project required that our team work harmoniously with different industries and building codes to create a design that was safe, functional, and beautiful. The end result? A home that seniors can age in comfortably while receiving the support they need.
