Daniel Wildeboer is a founder and Principal of DRAW Design Studios, leading the creative direction of the firm’s residential work. Since the firm’s establishment in 2006, he has contributed to the design of thousands of homes across Edmonton and beyond, bringing depth of experience and consistency of execution to each project.
His work is defined by precision, clarity, and buildability. Dan approaches design with a practical understanding of construction, ensuring that every drawing set is highly resolved, coordinated, and ready for execution at the highest level. Today, Dan focuses on guiding the studio’s work at a strategic level—working closely with builders and clients to deliver homes that are cohesive, efficient, and uncompromising in quality. His approach is grounded in a clear objective: to create homes that are refined, enduring, and built with confidence.
Outside the studio, Dan’s focus is on family and time well spent. He and his wife are raising their three children, who remain at the center of his “why.” A lifelong sports fan, he follows hockey, baseball, and CFL football, and values the balance that comes from stepping away—whether at the rink, the field, or simply at home.
Jennifer Strause is a Senior Architectural Designer specializing in custom residential design.
A graduate of NAIT’s Architectural Technology program, her work is grounded in clarity, proportion, and restraint—homes that are quietly refined and built to endure.
Her approach is both intuitive and disciplined. She designs with a long view, creating spaces that support the rhythms of daily life while maintaining a timeless architectural presence. Each project is considered as part of a larger context—within the site, the street, and the evolving character of the community.
Jennifer is drawn to architecture that balances warmth with precision. Mountain-inspired forms, natural materials, and expansive glazing inform her work, often layered with the simplicity and structure of modern farmhouse influences. The result is architecture that feels cohesive, grounded, and distinctly personal.
Outside the studio, Jennifer spends her time with her family and in the outdoors. A lifelong equestrian, she continues to ride and now shares that experience with her daughter. The mountains remain a constant—both a place of retreat and a source of inspiration.
